“Seek knowledge, because it is considered an act of worship if it is done by Allah. And you know it makes more fearing of Allah, and seek it is jihad , teaching it to those who do not know is charity, pass it and learn it is more like TASBI h (glorification of Allah). With the knowledge Allah will be known and loved. With the knowledge Allah will elevate people and make them leaders and imams , who in turn will lead other people. ”

Al-’Allaamah, ash-Shaykh Rabee ‘Ibn al-Haadee Madkhalee (hafizahullah) was asked at a meeting with some Salafi brothers Palestinians was recorded:
Question: “We can benefit from the books of the people of innovation if they were written before they turn away or even later, if they (the books) are free of deviation and is a good book on that subject?”
Ash-Shaykh (hafizahullah) replied:
Answer: Truly, the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and books that were passed by our Salafus-Saalih (righteous predecessors), which are pure and free of innovation is what we enough not to resort to the books of the people of innovation, they have been written before or after they fell in innovation. This is because, among the benefits of the Muslims is to terminate and delete the reference to the people of innovation. So, clinging to their books with the intent to benefit [them] increases its importance and raises their status in the hearts of people. And among the benefits of Muslims and Islam is to suppress the people of innovation and weaken the mention of the innovation leaders and disorientation.
In addition, you will not fail to find a free book of some truth, even the books of the Jews, Christians and groups misappropriated. So it is essential that the Muslim focus on what we previously mentioned, since it is safer and more secured for him and the distance to honor those who dishonored Allah. That’s what I say in answer to that question. Some of the Imams were of the opinion that it is not appropriate to take [knowledge] of the people of innovation, even if it were the truth.
